A plan for your starting point

Your age does not tell the whole story. Previous training, your current routine and the movements you find difficult matter when choosing exercises. Aidan builds coaching around your individual starting point rather than expecting you to follow a generic age based workout.

Four parts of a balanced approach

  • Strength: practise controlled movements with a clear approach to progression.
  • Mobility: work on moving with control through an appropriate range.
  • Flexibility: develop useful range of motion for training and everyday activities.
  • Conditioning: build exercise capacity at a level that reflects your current ability.

Understand your starting point

A movement and lifestyle assessment considers your goals, training history, current capability and routine. It helps inform the recommended coaching route. The free consultation is the first conversation; ask Aidan to explain the assessment arrangements and any cost before booking further work.

Returning to training after physiotherapy

If you have finished treatment and have clinical clearance to exercise, coaching can help you build a general training routine. Share relevant advice from your healthcare professional with Aidan. Cure Movement does not diagnose pain, treat injuries or replace rehabilitation prescribed by a clinician.

Progress you can recognise

Discuss what improvement would mean in your life, whether that is feeling more confident with exercise or keeping a consistent routine. Regular reviews help you and Aidan assess your progress and adjust the plan. Results depend on your starting point and circumstances; no fixed outcome or timeframe is promised.

Questions before you start

Can I start after a long break?

Your training history and current capability will shape your starting point. Discuss health concerns and any clinical advice during the consultation.

Is this physiotherapy?

No. This is personal training and general movement coaching. New or persistent pain and injuries need appropriate clinical assessment.

Where is coaching available?

Train in person by appointment in Preston Park, Brighton, or choose online coaching across the UK.
